Medical operations to enlarge Penis:
Operations for penis enlargement are often promoted by cosmetic surgeons for men who believe that their penis is too small. Lengthening operations release the penis from its attachments to the pelvis to allow one or two centimetres of extra length. Claims that greater lengths can be obtained should be treated with a great deal of scepticism. Operations to thicken the penis involve the insertion of fat taken from other parts of the body (often the buttocks) under the skin of the shaft of the penis.
These operations are fraught with complications including infection, an erect penis that will not stand out from the body, ulceration and lumpiness of the shaft from irregular fat deposits. The rate of satisfaction from men who have had these operations is very low.
A desire to increase the size of the penis is often better treated by psychological counselling than surgery.
